Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the tryout to confirm your registration. It is very important that you have registered online through the link on this page.  This is the information we will use in the notification process.  Players are expected to come with soccer cleats, shin guards and proper soccer/athletic attire. All players are required to bring sufficient water to stay hydrated.

The basis of tryouts is to identify and group players of like ability. It can be a stressful period for players and families. In attempt to combat this, all Rush players will be notified prior to tryouts which team they have a position. All Rush players are required to register and attend tryouts.  

When we look at the athletes, we measure their technical and tactical abilities along with their physical and psychological attributes. A tryout period does not allow us to fully rate players accurately. For these reasons, players will be observed throughout the entire year by their team Head Coach and Director of Coaching at training sessions and games. They will then be consequently placed more accurately within the Rush system. Evaluations will be based on the previously mentioned components in addition to attendance, attitude, team chemistry, and consistency, to name a few.

Players will receive an email 24-36 hours after their tryout.  Notification of team placement is a non-binding commitment until player(s) register for the seasonal year no sooner than Memorial Day  or after the completion of tryouts.

You must register for tryouts even if you cannot attend tryouts. Please notify us if you cannot attend by contacting doc@norcorush.com.

The Player

The Parent

• Support the players commitment to attend training and games

The Coach

• To be present at training and games. A suitable replacement will be secured if a coach has to miss training or games

• To evaluate and assess every player on the team
• To support a positive, constructive, fun and safe environment
• To support the soccer ambition and development of each player

The Club

• To be your soccer home and assist you in your total soccer journey over the coming years
• To assist you in navigating the club and the Rush national program and all the relevant offerings for your player and the family as a whole
• To mitigate problems as and when they occur
• To assist in the management of your experience with the coach and the team
