JASON GOLLHOFER

Jason is a life-long lover of “The Beautiful Game”. He played through high school, but due to injuries, stepped away from playing at 18. He started coaching at age 22 and has been doing so ever since. He originally coached at the rec level, enjoying the fact that he got to coach his eldest daughter. However, it grew from there. Jason has seven children and has coached six of the seven over the last 28 years. In 2011 he started coaching for the Bootleggers organization (the predecessor of Northern Colorado Rush). In 2014, while still coaching, he became a member of the Board too. He would remain on the Board for over three years, the last two as President. It was during this time that Northern Colorado Soccer Club (NCSC) Bootleggers made the transition to Northern Colorado Rush. His goal in pursuing this transition was to allow the club to maintain local control while expanding both the resources and opportunities for players and coaches alike to “take it to the next level”. After leaving the Board in 2016, Jason continued to coach, and is currently the assistant coach for the 2004 Girl’s Blue team. Jason is a certified soccer referee along with four of his kids…it is a great way to give back to the game that has given so much to him. Jason is married to Summer and they have raised seven children together. He has now added “Grandpa” to his list of titles too with Oakley (18 months) and Oliver (1 week). Jason works as a retirement planner for public educators (for the last 17 years). He enjoys playing board games and hanging out with his family in his free time. He looks forward to serving the youth soccer community in Northern Colorado again as a member of the Board.
