2019-2020 Tryouts

The basis of Tryouts is to identify and group players of like ability. Tryouts can be a stressful period for players and families. In an attempt to ease this, club-player assessments are a year-long, ongoing process combined with kickarounds (see above).  This system will give players a more accurate and detailed look over a broader period in a more relaxed, natural environment.   Players new to the club are invited to attend the kickarounds sessions and request a game assessment from our staff prior to tryouts.  Players are evaluated on their technical abilities, tactical capabilities, psychological traits and overall physical attributes.  Players are contacted with the results of tryouts the evening of their tryout.

ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS

High School Kickarounds

Northern Colorado Rush invites you to  High School Girls Kickarounds. High School Kick-Arounds are used as an important tool to help with player placement.  Players who will be in the 8th grade during their U15 year are invited to attend.  This is an opportunity for coaches in the age group to see players from NorCo Rush teams, as well as see players from outside the club who are interested in trying out. Kickarounds are also used to form College Showcase teams and prepared for upcoming tournaments.
