Northern Colorado Partners with Banner Health for Athletic Training and Impact Testing

Greeley, CO (September 20, 2018) - Northern Colorado Rush Soccer announced today its partnership with Banner Health, which will now be the exclusive provider of the club’s athletic training services and impact testing. This partnership is another step in the organization's’ ever-evolving commitment to advancing the quality, safety, and professionalism of youth soccer in Northern Colorado.

“I am pleased to announce to our members and athletes this new partnership with Banner Health. Banner will be providing an athletic trainer at home games and tournaments, in addition to baseline concussion testing for NorCo Rush athletes,” said Northern Colorado Rush President, Chad Shaw. “This partnership allows for the health, well-being, and safety of NorCo Rush athletes to be properly attended to, and it provides parents and guardians with the peace of mind knowing that injuries will be attended to professionally. This partnership represents another step in NorCo Rush's commitment to the athletic, physical and mental development of our young athletes. A very exciting and fulfilling partnership.”

As part of the partnership, a Banner Health Athletic Trainer will be on-site at all Northern Colorado Rush athletic events - a valuable resource for players and coaches.

“Our athletic trainers look forward to attending activities and providing medical care for the players and reassurance for parents and coaches,” said Lisa E. Bennett, Practice Manager, Orthopedics at Banner Health. “Thanks to NorCo Rush for the opportunity.”

Additionally, Banner Health will become a regular resource for health tips and advice, which will be delivered via the Norco Rush newsletter system monthly.
